Suppliers or the purchasing department upload article lists to the BeNeering Cloud. The system automatically validates these according to predefined rules, which are individually defined by the purchasing department or the respective department and can contain information such as product group keys, mandatory fields, order units and other validation rules. The system creates an Excel file with article data and marks errors and warnings. The supplier enters his correction directly in the file and returns it to the Catalog Cloud. The Catalog Cloud System thus offers considerable advantages in the quality assurance of product data. The purchasing department receives the error-free data for technical review and approval.
Publishing in real time
Once the catalogs are approved, they remain on the hosted server, as is common in cloud solutions. Working in the cloud is completely transparent for both suppliers and buyers. Catalog data is immediately available to users after it has been approved. The catalog view concept allows the assignment of catalogs for certain organizations; employees in Germany only see the catalog items approved for Germany.
